0.02a-Alpha Public Build Release

Version 0.02a-Alpha (2/3/2021) has been released to the public!

This build contains additional gameplay and UI changes, along with various bug fixes. (Thank you to those of you that sent us bug reports!)

If you have not yet played version 0.02, you will get to enjoy 2 brand new Mom scenes! For those of you that played the development build of 0.02, you can download this version to see the new gameplay updates and changes that were made.

After DrX and I (Hydro) discussed things, we realized that due to me traveling in a few days it made more sense to release 0.02 to the public now with just the Mom scenes, and then work on the new scenes for Alex and Rose to be released as a development build later in February. Our goal is to improve our workflow so we can release builds on a more consistent basis. We're determined to get there!

Also, we would like to give a big shoutout to everyone that is supporting our Subscriberstar! Thanks to all of you, we're able to continue developing IA2 to make it better and better! We are getting very close to reaching our first milestone, and we're looking forward to getting there!

0.02a-Alpha Public Build (2/3/2021) Patch Notes:

NOTE: Before upgrading, please make sure the save you intend to load for this build is saved outside of the inventory, reading, playing games, and shopping menus. Recommended place is to save in your bedroom, then upgrade and load that save.

Gameplay Changes

• Added beach location. Going to beach requires Boldness level 3. Activities at the beach during the day can only be done when you have Sunscreen in your inventory. Sunscreen can be bought from the Misc Items shop at the mall. In the future, you'll be able to invite characters to do beach activities with you.
• Added Sunbathing activity at the beach.
• Added achievements for seeing unique dialog from giving gifts to a character or spending time with them (like watching movies/tv/streaming).
• Hints to unlock Mom scenes have been added to Mom's talk menu for optional viewing. Hints for other characters will be added in the future.
• When going to sleep early at night, you can choose what your mood will be for the next day.

UI Changes

• The gallery was added to the player's bedroom. You can view the bust art of characters there. Some bust art variations are locked until you have progressed further into a character's route. The ability to see scene images will be added to gallery in the future.
• The stat associated with each food from the fridge is now displayed when selecting.
• The stat associated with each streaming show is now displayed when selecting.
• The stat associated with each book or game is now displayed in the inventory and shopping menu.
• The stat associated with the currently playing movie is displayed in the activities selection menu in the Street location.
• If an achievement with a number goal has been unlocked, then it will always display as having reached the goal number even if it has not been achieved in the current playthrough yet.
• Increased the size of the social stat window slightly.
• Names on the relationship screen are now centered more vertically.
• When shopping, the days the shop restocks is now displayed.
• The quick menu while playing on mobile is now the same as when playing on PC.

Other Changes

• A Mom scene's dialog was edited to explain her choice of attire.
• A Mom scene's dialog was edited to acknowledge if Daniel had made certain choices in the Mom couch scene from the first build.

Bug Fixes

• Mom now always appears in her clothes when starting her 18th scene.
• Fixes incorrect hitbox in the shopping menu.
• Ms. Bonheur now properly has unique dialog for the Deep Fish Shine movie.
• Corrected a typo in the second Mom scene.
• The retry choice label for the Mom Motorcycle Night Ride scene is now correct.
• You can now only do Mom's third scene during the day.
• Fixed a typo when inviting Alex to the park.
• Fixed a message that would say all of Mom's scenes were completed when there were still scenes remaining to be unlocked.

0.02-Alpha Public Build (1/26/2021) Patch Notes:

New Content

• Added two Mom scenes that require relationship levels 14 and 15. The first one requires that you talk to Mom during night. The second requires that you talk to her during the day.

Gameplay Changes

• Adjusted point requirements for social stat levels to be much less. Please let us know if you think the change is still too slow, or now too fast, or just right! When you load your save, the levels will be recalculated, but won't decrease.
• New Mood - Productive, allowing you to complete an additional 1/3 of your homework! You can only get this mood if you haven't done any of your homework for the week.
• The boldness level check for an option in the Mom couch scene was reduced from 5 to 4.
• Reduced level point requirements for Mom (Robin), Alex, and Rose (Ms. Bonheur). When you load your save, the levels will be recalculated, but won't decrease.
• Added a few "mini-events" when doing certain activities. Currently, there is a 25% chance to get a mini-event. Some mini-events have choices with a 75% chance to succeed and a 25% chance to fail. These percentages may be adjusted in future builds based on feedback. More mini events will be added in future builds!
• Added some achievements! Achievements are calculated and awarded when time passes in-game. More achievements will come in future builds, possibly with rewards for completing achievements.
• Tutoring now gives 2 Sexiness instead of 1.
• Practicing Guitar now gives 2 Artfulness instead of 1. Practicing when Mom is home now gives an additional point as well.
• Doing chores now gives 2 Handiness instead of 1.
• A checkmark is displayed next to streaming shows, fridge foods, books and games that have been completed or used in any playthrough.
• Moods now give +2 social stat points rather than 1.
• Cleaning the classroom when it's raining now gives 2 Handiness instead of 1. Rain now gives an additional point as well.

Image Changes

• Fixed some images in one of Mom's scenes.
• Added image for the watching scary videos activity.

UI Changes

• Some UI improvements were made for the inventory, reading, playing games, and the shopping menus.
• Informational windows such as Social Stats, Relationships, etc. now appear above the quick menu.
• Information windows (accessible by clicking the buttons at the top middle of the screen) can now be exited/closed by clicking outside the active windows/boxes. The labeled close buttons are now in the same place for each informational window.
• When shopping, the game no longer asks "Buy x?" before showing the shopping menu.
• Added icon for Alex when talking. Soccer, anyone?
• The window for dialog and some menus has been darkened slightly.

Audio Changes

• Added some new music tracks!
• Added "sex ambience" sound channel. Volume can be adjusted in preferences.
• Added non-verbal lewd ambience sounds to some of Mom's, Rose's, and Alex's past scene(s).
• All games, tv/streaming shows, and movies have music while playing.

Typo Fixes

• Fixed typo from "back their dude" to "back there, dude" for an Alex scene.
• Fixed inconsistency in one of Alex's scenes regarding homework, changing "due tomorrow" to "due next class."
• Corrected the New Game+ tutorial/help text to say that only points from activities are retained in New Game+.

Bug Fixes

• Tutoring new counts for Ms. Bonheur New Game+ points.
